We at Edubridge also enjoyed reading Roald Dahl's books and learnt some interesting things about this great author. 3rd Graders composed a song insired by one of his books - The Enormous Crocodile-
Here is the song they composed, ..

THERE WAS A CROCODILE IN THE LAKE
HE WANTED TO EAT SOME CHILDREN
HE PASSED THE HIPPO AND THE ELEPHANT
THE MONKEY AND THE BIRD

HE'S GOT SECRET PLANS AND CLEVER TRICKS
HE USES HIS LEGS, BODY, TAIL AND A BIG MOUTH
AND DON'T FORGET THE BIIIIGGGG MOUTH
WITH HUNDREDS OF SHINY TEETH

HE ACTED LIKE A TREE, A COCONUT TREE
HE ACTED LIKE A SEESAW, A NEW SEESAW
HE WENT ON A ROUND-ABOUT, YES AROUND-ABOUT
AND THEN HE WAS A BENCH, A PICNIC BENCH

EVERY TIME THE CHILDREN WENT AWAY
THANKS TO THE ANIMALS THEY ARE SAVED
THE ELEPHANT THREW HIM UP TO THE SUN
GOODBYE MISTER YOU ARE DONE.
