Taking our quest for knowledge further, we visited the Prince of Wales museum to learn more about the Indus Valley civilization.
Ms. Maya came along with us to understand the different words used in Hindi for the olden day commodities.

In our guided reading time this week we were introduced to the literature circles.
We all read the same book but had different jobs to do .....
Word Wizard has to look for new or difficult words in the story and find out what they mean.
Artful Artist has to depict any one interesting part of the story pictorially.
Character Captain has to identify the character traits of the characters in the story.
Skillful Story teller has to summarize the story in their own words.
We reviewed symmetry through B.U.I.L.D.
Comparing 2D and 3 D
We explored the world of 3D shapes. We began by understanding the different geometric terms used to describe a 3 d shape.
We moved on to looking at nets of 3D shapes. We discovered that 3 d shapes are actually made up of 2 D shapes.
This week during our assembly we learnt about 'Thanksgiving"
We had special visitors come this week who taught us about road safety.
